About Hotel Clover
Staycations give us the a day or two to ease our minds, rejuvenate and recharge our bodies. While accommodation in Singapore has become increasingly more expensive, Boutique hotels offer a more affordable option in the city to “getaway” for the weekend.
Hotel Clover is one of those options, with 5 different themed hotels in Singapore alone. We decided to take a day off to check out their newly renovated Jalan Sultan outlet and their Signature Room Package which costs just $138++ per night!
Located mere 10mins walk away from Bugis Station and 10 minute drive from Orchard, they are also outside the CBD area and thus extremely convenient. For tourists, this is also the perfect place to discover the cafes and quaint shops along the beautiful and artistic Haji Lane.
While the hotel was a tad small, the rooms at Hotel Clover are cosy and perfect for a quiet getaway for couples. They have the more luscious suites available for those looking for a more fancy stay.
They don’t offer room service, but the location of the hotel completely makes up for it. Food of any cuisine is easily accessible at a stone’s throw away along Beach Road, Haji Lane and Bugis.
They also have a swanky Japanese bar and diner located inside the hotel called Fukusen. They specialise in rice and bento sets and even have fresh ingredients air flown from Japan twice a week! The morning breakfast buffet for hotel guests are also served here.
A fully equipped gym is also available, albeit pretty small, for those who need to keep fit.
While the room we stayed in was a little small, it was cozy and perfect for a quick and quiet getaway. The other rooms available also promise a comfortable and luxurious stay for those looking for a more “atas” option.
The best thing about Hotel Clover at Jalan Sultan is it’s fantastic location and easy access to the abundance of food of every cuisine and culture along Beach Road and Haji Lane. At just $138++, this has to be one of the most value for money staycation options in Singapore.
